I added 3 new Lassos and one Royal today. The hardest part of creating a website is taking good photos, especially to reveal the magnificent color of our beads. I take photos in the shade outside after 2pm. This outside lighting shows the natural color of Swarovski beads and Plated beads. Here is the Swarovski heart bead which is called "Moon Light Clear Crystal" The cut is very unique because the center of the heart has a pointy protrusion, making rays of light shine in many different directions. Getting heavier.......

Yes, I seem to be getting to be heavier these days.............
Since I have started to create my tiaras and website, I lost the urge to go to the gym.
After four months of absence from exercising, I feel heavy and my clothes are starting to get tight! PK

Are they candies? or are they Diamonds????
No, they are Swarovski Crystal Beads that I use for my creation of tiaras.
They are beautifully dazzling and shiny and so they are attractive and exciting to me. What should I make next? I have started taking customized orders. PK

War Memorial Opera House in San Francisco
I went to go see the Nutcracker performed by San Francisco Ballet on Christmas Eve. That was the most impressive Nutcracker I have ever seen. The dancers, characters, music, costumes, and choreography were wonderful. The Opera House was also Magnificent with shimmering gold walls and carvings on the wide ceiling. They will perform the Sleeping Beauty in Spring so I should go back to see again! PK

We took our dog to the Animal Hospital boarding service and now we are in the San Francisco Bay Area after 6 hours driving. We miss her some but we enjoy without her a lot....
Tomorrow I will go see the Nutcracker performed by the San Francisco Ballet at the War Memorial Opera House.

I made this crown style tiara for Princess Florine in the Blue Bird variation of the Sleeping Beauty. I found the variation in a sheet that looks like the sheet music but it actually is the movements and steps in the variation. If you can read this choreography, teach me :-P. PK

We are going to San Francisco where Grandma and Grandpa are for Christmas.
One thing that is different from last Thanksgiving holiday's visit there: we won't take our big baby girl, Yellow Lab. We will stay at our relative's house this time so she can't come. We definately don't want to take our big baby who cries when she is lonely and makes unpleasant messes to mark the unfamiliar environment. The most extremely emotional dog in the world is our dog. No dog is spoiled like her. She is the champion of snuggling mammals in American history. If we take her out of the house, she will whine through the night to be in the house, and she will make a stinky mess when she is nervous....The last time we visited our aunt's home, the dog made a bad impression. In fact, she was about to go on the carpet when I saw her and dove under her with a paper bag to catch it before it hit the carpet! Can you imagine?! That was a nice catch!

So this year the dog stays behind. However it was not easy to find pet hotel right before Christmas....I called more than ten places and even called one in San Jose. Finally, I found a pet boarding at the animal hospital near my house. We are sad to leave her alone and hope that she will enjoy Holidays at the hotel with the friends who have the same problem as her...

I wish that she was a chihuahua when we travel...travel size compact...

The tickets I bought for the musical "Cats" were delivered today. The musical will be played in May 2007! I can not believe that I bought the tickets that far away from the show..... It is not even Chrismas yet. I saw this musical about.....23 years ago. I was very young at that time! ;-P That was the first musical I ever saw. I can not forget my first impression on how wonderfully the director coordinated the dancing and the singing on the beautifully decorated stage. I was also astonished at how they really look like cats! PK

I have the flu.....I was so cold at my work, shivering! I had a very high fever! Please do not get the flu, please. Good health is very important if you want to have a good time opening presents and spending family time together on Christmas (or hannukah or kwanzaa).

This tiara is in our main ad. We made flyers with this picture. This is my favorite. This one was sold a month ago and the person who wore it played Sugar Plum Fairy. I had been thinking that a Sugar Plum Fairy should be something pink but I just realized it is not neccessary. Customers often give us great ideas. Your voice is one of our top priorities. PK

It is cold without heating in my house. The heater is set to start at 5am and it takes 30 minutes to make my house warm. When I was in Toronto, I never turned off the heater during winter even if nobody was in the house. Winter is 9 months long in Toronto. Compared to over there, I am in heaven in Southern California. I really appreciate Southern California weather every single day...even rainy days. PK

I went to see the Nutcracker by the ST. PETERSBURG BALLET THEATRE at the Orange County Performing Arts Center Theater today. I really loved how Maria (Clara) showed her expression and emotion in her dance. She was so beautiful in every single variation.

The tiara in the photo above was used for the Snow Queen at my daugther's studio recital a few weeks ago.

The young dancer who wore this tiara wanted to buy this from the studio because she wants to show this tiara to her children someday and tell them that she danced "Snow Queen" when she was young.

This is what Prima Korona wants. To make someone's treasure with a wonderful moment.

I went to see EDWARD SCISSORHANDS by Matthew Bourne, the great choreographer.

Sam Archer, who portrayed Edward, was a wonderful dancer. He showed a very pure, sensitive, gentle, lonely boy who has a warm heart. Somehow he gave people dreams, joy and happiness until he is gone. The Trees corp was fantastically well done. I loved evey single moment. Matthew is a brilliant choreographer and director. PK

This is the crown style with gold and clear rainbow. Doesn't it look like a snail? (Gary on Sponge Bob Squarepants?!)

We will close our Primakorona.com website for few days to renew...It will be a big change.

See you soon. PK

As I've explained, the Prima Korona tiara reflects lots of light not just from the front, but all around. The problem has been how to demonstrate the effects of the stage lights and spotlights on a web page.

The idea that I came up with is little silly..... but very effective: use a car headlights as spotlights.....However, what if my neighbor see me holding a mannequin head under the headlights in the night...They will freak out for sure!!!

Does anyone have a "Plan B"?

Hi everyone, Thank you very much for waiting.
I just finished updating
my site. Sorry for the delay....
It's 12:43 a.m. so it is about 40 minutes past Sunday 12/10.

I went to see the Nutcracker performed by Festival Ballet yesterday.
MAXIM BELOSERKOVSKY and IRINA DVOROVENKO were the guest dancers from ABT.
Their solo variations and Pas de Deux were wonderful. The Pas de Deux was incredibly graceful with legs and arms reaching a mile long. Maxim's tour en l'air [toor ahn lehr] was like a bullet and Irina's chaines [she-NAYS] were like a tornado. It was truly brilliant. PK

I was going to put up some new tiaras on www.primakorona.com, but I might not be able to because it is raining!! What does rain have to do with the website?

I need sunlight to take natural color pictures. Rain, rain go away...

In the spotlight
We just found out that the big difference between our tiaras and our competitiors, the rhinestone wedding tiaras. When you dance, our tiara will catch the spot lights on front and back because of the way that our bi-cone beads are made. The bi-cone beads are cut so that the base of two cones meet. The color reflects lights beautifully during your pirouettes.

My favorite variation is Esmeralda.

It is a very dramatic dance. Romantic ballet in 3 acts and 5 scenes after “Notre-Dame de Paris” by Victor Hugo

Music: Jules Perrot. Choreography: Jules Perrot, Marius Petipa

Tell me your favorite ballet ;)
